Good hotel with great amenities like Wi-Fi, picnic area, luggage storage, and air conditioning. On my first visit, the staff kindly offered a cold drink to help me cool off, which I still remember. I highly recommend relaxing under the oak trees with fresh cookies and tea. I'm definitely coming back for Christmas.

wow, what an experience. the queen room was definitely not a queen size, very suspicious if you ask me. the breakfast was less than appetizing—i almost gave a good review, but the food looked like 3x3 pieces of beef jerky! i expected a personal welcome gift for my trouble, but apparently that wasn't in the budget.

A Truly Charming Stay with Excellent Breakfast
I absolutely loved my stay at this charming inn! The freshly made breakfast each morning was a delightful surprise—especially the smothered breakfast burrito with pico de gallo. The antique decor added such a unique touch to the atmosphere, making it feel cozy and inviting. Plus, the serene views of the river were the perfect backdrop for a relaxing retreat. My only suggestion would be to add a few more dog-friendly areas outside for guests traveling with pets.

It was just a proper fit for a short stayover in Glen Rose with good value for cost. The staff were friendly, which made the check-in process smoother than expected. Look for nearby restaurants for better meal options instead of relying on the on-site dining.
